Models and guides for working relationships
Free to read, and free to use in your own sessions. Some of this explains a model anyone can apply; the rest goes with Team Dynamic Styles.
Concepts and frameworks
Models that stand on their own. Nothing here needs an account, an assessment, or a result.
The Trust Equation →
Four things trust is actually made of, and which one to work on first. A private rating exercise you can run on your own, plus a printable one-page handout for a live session.
Team Dynamic Styles
Material that goes with the Styles assessment: how to read your own result, and how to work with everyone else's.
Interaction guides
All 16 guides →Sixteen short, directional guides — one for each pairing of your style and theirs — with the friction to expect and exactly what to do differently.
The four styles
Eagle
Tells rather than asks, and keeps feeling contained. Wants the outcome, and wants it now.
Peacock
Tells rather than asks, and shows what they are feeling. Thinks out loud and brings the room along.
Dove
Asks rather than tells, and shows what they are feeling. Steady, dependable, holds the team together.
Owl
Asks rather than tells, and keeps feeling contained. Wants the evidence before the decision.
For facilitators
Run your own team session →
For a team lead who wants a plan for Thursday. A 60-minute agenda for walking a team through their map — prep, timed steps, discussion prompts, and how to handle the skeptic. One screen, works over a call.
Facilitating a session in person →
For a practitioner preparing for a room. Equipment and room setup, lead times, three timed agendas with the words to use at each turn, and an answer for every way a physical room refuses to cooperate.
Name the bird →
A 15-minute exercise that makes the four styles stick: the team works out which bird belongs to which style, and argues about the edges. No prep, no accounts, and it runs before anyone has taken the assessment.
Put your whole team on the map
The free assessment takes five minutes. Invite your team and see everyone's style on one shared grid — then use these guides for every conversation.
