For team leads

Run the session yourself. Here is exactly how it goes.

No facilitator, no budget, no training. The two things that go wrong are the session falling flat and the tool not working. This page is about the first one. The second one is our job.

The hour, step by step

Sixty minutes, four steps, one grid.

  1. 01 · Before

    Invite by link or QR

Create the team, share one link. People take it on their phone in five minutes. No account needed to join.

  2. 02 · 0–10 min

    Watch the grid fill

Put the live dashboard on the screen. Markers appear as people finish. Everyone sees their own result first.

  3. 03 · 10–40 min

    Walk the grid together

Two axes, four styles, no good or bad answers. Who sits near whom, which corner is empty, where the team will click and where it will grind.

  4. 04 · 40–60 min

    Pair up with the guides

Sixteen short guides, one per pairing. Each person opens the one for a colleague they work with most and says what they will do differently.

What people will ask

The questions your team will have, answered before they ask.

Do I need an account?
Not to join. Scan the code, take it, see your result. Claim an account afterwards if you want to keep it.
Who sees my result?
You, first and always. Your teammates see your style on the team grid once you are on the team. Nobody else.
Will this show up in my review?
No. It is a published rule, not a setting: development tools are never repurposed for evaluation. Not hiring, not promotion, not performance review.
What if I land right on a line?
You are shown as a blend: your primary style plus the neighbor you lean toward. Many people flex between two. That is normal and useful to know.

Rehearse first

Nobody runs this cold. Practice is standard, not remedial.

Create a second team, invite yourself and a friend, and talk through the grid out loud once. Do it before the real session. It is the difference between reading the map and explaining it.

Practice Mode

Planned

A simulated session with simulated participants under real names, so you can rehearse the grid, the gaps between styles, and the proximity conversations before the room is real.

When you want a hand

Some sessions want a facilitator. We can introduce you to one.

If your team gets to the map and wants someone who has done this a hundred times, ask. We keep a list of practitioners who run this instrument and will make an introduction. The engagement is between you and them.

Ask for an introduction

Planned

Tell us what the session is for and how big the team is. We reply with one or two practitioners who fit, and you take it from there.
